Tinchy Stryder and Amelle’s collaboration on the single ‘Never Leave You’ gets its TV debut later this month when they perform live and acoustically on BBC Sound on June 27th with more shows to follow and of course the video which we can’t wait to see. 7 June 2009: Babes choose new single

Keisha, Amelle and Heidi reckon they’ve picked a winner for what will be their new single. Making an exciting tweet on their twitter page, the girls cant wait for you all to hear it. The new single was one of the many tracks they recorded on their recent trip to LA which has been keeping them in high spirits and on top form for the new album later in the year.

1 June 2009: Amelle & Tinchy hook up

Label mates Amelle and Tinchy Stryder are to hook up for a collaboration on a new track from Tinchy ‘Never Leave You’ . Tinchy got together with N Dubz for the track ‘Number 1’ and Taio Cruz on ‘Take Me Back’. The new track will feature Amelle’s vocals and will be Tinchy’s first female collaboration since making the big time. We’ll let you know when we have more news.

25 May 2009: Sugababes Celebrate 50 Years Of Island Records

The Sugababes are helping their record label ‘Island’ celebrate it’s 50th Anniversary with the release of a 3CD set of classic Island hits called ‘Island Life’ - which will be released on June 1. Along with likes of Amy Winehouse, Bob Marley, Paul Weller & Keane the Babes will be contributing one of their biggest hit’s Push The Button’ to the release. Plus they have also recorded a very special version of 80’s Womack and Womack hit ‘Teardrops’ which you are going to LOVE. Click here for details of Island Life.

19 May 2009: More LA Tweets

The Sugababes LA trip continues and the Girls are really excited about the new material they have been recording. They can’t wait to get back to the UK to play some tracks to their record label plus they’ve been busy filming lots of footage which will be edited into some YouTube clips soon too. But it’s not all hard work….they’ve been hobnobbing it at the ‘Spotted Pig’ restaurant which is one of Jay-Z’s fav spots and we know for a fact Rihanna was eating there yesterday too.

15 May 2009: Justin Timberlake Just Walked In!!

OMG could things get any more exciting in Sugababes’ La La land. Hard at work on their new album in LA the girls have been keeping us up to date with news through their tweets and the latest news is that Justin Timberlake just walked into the studio and the Babes are going to play him some of their tunes. Amelle thinks they might have already recorded their new single with Stargate and Ne-Yo, but with so many great hook-ups already lined up in the pipeline who knows what studio magic is going to be made over the next few weeks.
